Almost 40 volunteers and members of the Friends of Perry Hall Mansion came out to participate in the April 19th, 2008 clean-up of the exterior and grounds of this historic home. Work to be done included: grass and tree trimming, removal of leaves/brush, removal of any stray trash, and general clean-up.

Representatives from the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks (who removed all of the debris) report that over 5,500 pounds (2 1/2 tons) of brush and yard waste were removed by this group of dedicated volunteers.

The next meeting of the Friends of the Perry Hall Mansion will be on Wednesday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael Lutheran Church (9534 Belair Road).
